Photoshop is not the only software for Photo editing?
Many people see Adobe Photoshop as the ultimate Photo editing software. But there are many other good software when it comes to any image editing out there.
To start with, Photoshop was the first good software when it came to image editing. And many still say, it’s the only software to use.
Me self I prefer to use another Adobe software, Lightroom when it comes to Photo editing. Lightroom is very powerful and can do 90-95% of what Photoshop can do. And is very rare I ever need to use Photoshop for any image editing.
The reason to use Adobe Lightroom instead of Photoshop is very easy. As I said you can do almost everything you need, and is much more easy and quicker to work with when it come to image editing.
So, is Photoshop the best solution?
Yes, it is, Photoshop is by far the most advance image editing on the market. But there are reason why you should not stare you blind on just this software.
The first, and maybe the most obvious reason, is the price. Photoshop is expensive, and have for the last years only been available on subscription.
If you don’t know Photoshop, then you have a long bit to go, as the program has a long long learning curve.
But the biggest question you need to ask yourself… Do you need such advance software as Photoshop? I know professional photographers, that only use Adobe Lightroom for the editing.
And then there are others that say you can’t do professional work if you don’t have Photoshop. And on this I can guarantee you can do. One of the photograph working on a very high level.
But there is many other Photo editing software.
I will not go to the listed software below. But you should have a good look if you new to this, and planning to buy one program for your editing.
